Our Story

Daughters of Flowers is an ode to the simple beauty of plants, an honouring of slow and traditional ways. From our studio in Cork, Ireland we make botanically infused skin, hair and body care, hand-blended teas and artisan homewares.

We strive to create beauty in all things and take inspiration from classical mythology, romantic poetry, heirloom flowers, slow living and the pursuit of a life of simple attainable beauty.

Our studio sits in the heart of Clonakilty town, above the river in a two-hundred-year-old grain store, the rafters lined with bunches of drying yarrow and mint. At the centre is our farmhouse table, where we make each offering using carefully sourced ingredients and folk methods passed down from our grandmothers.

Our products are formulated by founder Réidín, inspired by many years of deep study in bio-regional herbalism and the Wise Woman Tradition, which is believed to be the oldest known healing tradition on our planet.

Previously named Warrior Botanicals, we’ve been offering whole-plant, natural skincare since 2016.

Our Ingredients

Honouring the earth, we use only the purest herbs, flowers, oils, butters, extracts and essences. We source our ingredients as locally as possible and, when possible, ensure that they are organic.

Every product we create will always be cruelty-free and contain no sulfates, synthetics, artificial fragrances, petroleum, GMO ingredients, gluten, formaldehyde, preservatives, or manufactured colours.

Many of our herbs come from our long-established kitchen garden, abundant in traditional herbs such as melissa, rosemary, skullcap and vervain, with hedgerows adorned with heirloom roses. We bundle and dry everything above our cottage stove.

Other herbs are carefully wildcrafted from hedgerows and wild meadows or sustainably sourced from caring growers and fellow herbalists.

Our honey and beeswax come from a local Irish family homestead. The bees and their hives are treated with reverence and lovingly cared for, ensuring the honey is sustainable and full of the local flowers and plants we carefully forage for.
