Cold Season Skincare Guide

As the leaves fall and long nights arrive, we honour the colder seasons by giving our bodies a little extra nourishment and support. Along with drinking warming herbal tisanes and wrapping up in our beloved knits, we add some simple rituals to our daily and weekly skincare routines; for wholesome and radiant skin throughout the year.

Here are some supportive additions to your rituals…

Beauty Begins Within
We believe that beauty begins within. To support your skin enjoy warming herbal teas throughout the day. Our May You Walk in Beauty’ tea is blended with herbs and flowers traditionally thought to support skin health and promote radiance from the inside out, including nettle, rose, dandelion and pansy.

Radiant Hydration
Using a facial tonic can help keep our skin feeling hydrated. Paired with a facial serum, facial tonics may nourish the skin's delicate moisture barrier, balance ph levels and refresh the complexion. Try our delicate facial mist, L'eau Botanique Rose Petal Facial Tonic after cleansing.

Include Nourishing Balms
As colder temperatures arise introducing a nourishing balm to your daily routine can help give your skin a moisturising boost! For around the eyes, where the skin is thinnest and most sensitive, we use our delicate Seer Eye Balm. If you have dry skin, or spend a lot of time in heated spaces, add in Faerie Nourishing Facial Balm either daily or a couple of nights a week.

Weekly Hydrating Masks
Part of our weekly routine includes a clay facial mask. Using whole-plant ingredients, these gentle exfoliate the skin, leaving our complexions feeling renewed and nourished. Our favourite for these colder months is Onead Facial Mask, with milk, honey & wildflowers. Mix with some organic yoghurt or our Mellonia Facial Balm for an extra creamy texture. If you are vegan, choose from Green Gardens and Asteria
